The third round of matches comes at a crucial stage of the tournament, with teams seeking to strengthen their positions in their respective groups before the competition reaches its halfway mark. Some counties will be aiming to maintain their unbeaten runs, while others will be desperate to recover from disappointing starts. Saturday’s programme features three fixtures. Buvuma will host Buluuli at Magyo Ssaza Ground in a match scheduled for 3:00 p.m. In another Group fixture, Ssese will face Busiro at a venue yet to be confirmed, also kicking off at 3:00 p.m. Later in the day, Butambala will welcome Ssingo in a 4:00 p.m. encounter. The action continues on Sunday with six matches spread across the Buganda region. Busujju will entertain Kyaddondo, while defending champions Buweekula host Buddu at Mubende National Teachers College Grounds. Kabula will face Bugerere in another important contest, with Mawogola taking on neighbours Kooki at Ssaza Ground. Kyaggwe will host Bulemeezi at Bishop’s Senior Secondary School, while Mawokota conclude the weekend’s programme with a home fixture against Gomba at Buwama Ssaza Ground. As the tournament gathers momentum, supporters are expected to turn up in large numbers to cheer on their respective counties. Matchday Three could significantly shape the standings, with every point becoming increasingly important in the race for qualification to the knockout stages.
