Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have officially unveiled French tactician Denis Lavagne as their new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 season. The Venoms confirmed the appointment on Tuesday through their official social media platforms, announcing that the 61-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the club. Lavagne succeeds Belgian coach Jacky Minnaert, who departed at the end of the 2025/26 season after guiding Vipers SC to the Uganda Premier League title.
